Truma S3002 Heater

I've got a Bailey Pegasus 524 with the Truma S3002 heater. It has electronic ignition and when I put a new AA battery in the ignitor box it sparks away till the battery becomes flat. I've tried replacing the ignitor box but I've found that made no difference.
Two Bailey dealers have also "fiddled" with it without any luck. Anyone with any ideas as to the problem and who in the SE of England can fix it?
