Towbar mount bike carrier

I am looking at getting a Witter ZX88 or ZX89 towbar mount bike carrier.  This will only be used whilst towing onto the ferry as my CR-V with bikes on top exceeds the height off the van. (Bikes will be on the roof going to and from the ferry).  My only concern
is, will the mounting plate interfer with the alko stabiliser hitch?  If anybody has experience of using one of these carriers your advice would be appreciated
