Problems with tow bar electrics?

We bought a  new Vauxhall Zafira tourer in November 2013, and had a tow bar fitted (by the Vauxhall dealer) in January 2014. In June 2014, while touring in the North West of England, the micro switch on the tow bar electrics failed resulting in loss of indicators/sensors/traction
control etc.  We contacted the dealer, who arranged for us to visit another dealer in the area where we were, the whole loom needed to be replaced and this was done under warranty.  13 months later, we have the same problem.  Of course this time the warranty
has expired by 1 month.  We feel that this might be a design fault and wondered if anyone else has suffered the same problem?
