City Centre Sites?

We like visiting Rowntree Park in York as the location is excellent. We'd like to find another city similar to York) that has a site within walking distance of the centre  

 

Can anyone advise of any towns or Cities than are worth a visit and have the camp site within close proximity to the centre.  Thank you
