After a lovely sunny morning, the heavens have opened into a heavy rainfall. We've just finished our second delivery today, a Macdonalds delivery to a pub. Now we're sitting outside Broadwater Green in the car waiting for the next order.

As there was only one delivery to do, there was time to get to the bank to bank yesterdays earnings. Then we went back to the caravan to watch Serena Williams play at Wimbledon. Our second order came just after we watched her win.

We did get a short break after completing the last order. Now another Macdonalds order has come in. The weather probably has something to do with it, especially if Wimbledon has stopped because of the rain.

What are you doing in UK Boleroboy, you should be down there by the Med! We're sitting in the rain at CCC Kingsbury Water Park, dreaming of our 'secret site' in Provence.

Cath's hospital treatment means that we can only get away for a couple of days at at time and not too far (33 miles today!).

Write your comments here...Some friends of ours just returned from spending a few weeks in France and said it was the worst holiday they had in their life. They had torrential rain throughout their stay and flooding.

We've just done a Kfc delivery to Worthing Hospital and have now got another Kfc order. So it's becoming a busy evening and it's still raining although not as heavily as earlier. I wonder what's happening at Wimbledon with all this rain.

chas, hi to you both....yes, also dreaming of the med but have been getting parents moved into a new bungalow this spring, slow process and still a few issues but theyre doing well....

daughter and son in law are expecting in mid august so we are staying here for a bit to give them support if and when.....

still, weve managed to grab a bit of sun, Fuertaventura in Feb and have just returned from a cruise to italy and Greece, so we are hanging in there....

'should' be able to 'get away properly' at the back end of the year though there are rumblings about Christmas planning....at home (or possibly even away) but not in the van, i feelSad

now 2017, thats a different story...

    ...please wish Cath our best.....Happy

OH managed to get an appointmnet at her doctors due to a cancelation so down to town this morning. Stocked up now for the next 3 months on pills so we don't have the bother of getting a perscription sent out to a chemist somewhere close to wherever we'll
be next trip. As we were in town we did the week's shopping and managed a couple of shortish walks with Flyte before heading home for lunch, and just before the rains came tumbling down, and didn't it rain!!.
SurprisedFull waterproofs on for this afternoon's walk and it finally stopped raining early evening.

We've been home for almost a week so it must be time to go away again - oh, yes, we are - off down to Cornwall for a week in just a short while. Hope the weather's going to behave, there's only so much time you can spend indoors watching foreign teams play
    football!
Laughing. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

Hope you have another good week, but the forecast's not too good for the next couple of days. What's more there's no more matches to watch till Thursday night. Wink

Wow not letting the grass grow under your feet, even if it is in the garden .  Nothing wrong with naughty stuff - you just need to keep moving like you do at home !!!! .

Whilst driving along the sea front A259 Brighton Road between Worthing and Lancing, I saw a policeman with what looked like a speed camera. He seemed to be pointing it in the direction of the traffic coming from Lancing into Worthing. The speed limit is
30 mph on that stretch but not everyone knows that!

Been busy today, back home after our short break, caravan cleaned, how one dog leaves that many hairs in just a few days is a mystery ? Undecided

Washing dried before the rain came. Didn't find enough energy for the ironing too, before heading off to work.

We arrived in Cornwall this afternoon got soaked setting up but it cleared up later on so we cooked the dinner outside on the Cadac. We left home on Friday and had 3 nights st Moffatt C&CC site to attend the classic car show as always it was excellent. We
then had last night at Chapel Lane CC to break the journey before continueing on to Cornwall today

We finally got back to our site by 22:30 last night having completed the last delivery. Horrible wet and windy evening yesterday. It was so busy yesterday that I ran out of fuel and had to fill the tank which was another £80 hit to my account!

Our GP practice is closing down so we have to register with another practice before the end of July. Not sure whether there'll be time to do it today because I need to get to the bank to pay in yesterdays earnings.

More time tomorrow as it's my day off!

Malcolm, when you finally get your pension, will you then not be able to look around for a job that pays a proper hourly rate and once and for all, kick dinnertogo into touch

Write your comments here...They won't let me leave because they can't recruit other drivers that are reliable. The boss begged me to leave Dominos and come back to work for dinnertogo.

This puts you in a very good position to negotiate a pay rise!

Write your comments here...I've already had some increase, KjellNN. The minimum delivery fee went up from £2.50 to £3. However, the customers pay that not the company! Unfortunately, fuel costs have gone up tooSad.

Where are you off to this time HelenandTrevor? Trying to rain here too. I'm making Christmas bunting, having finished Advent calendar by adding her name. When I went to get the letters they had reduced Christmas material so couldn't resist. Nice occupation
for the morning .  Plenty of routine indoor work but I'm not looking. Off to visit friends this evening exchanging photos theirs of holiday and daughters wedding us of new granddaughter
