A second dull, damp day here.  Spending today at DD's house making a start on her list of jobs.

Should be going for our flu vaccinations between 15.30 and 16.00' but wil take them up on the offered alternative of Saturday morning instead.

I wouldn't be saying that but for the comfortable financial cushioning of my state pension! I just wish it was enough to give up work altogether!

We're running out of Aquakem and Aqua rinse which means a walk over to see the warden at reception to buy some more today.

Malc, try and be more frugal, there are alternatives to use and although Warden sales are very welcome when caught out it is understandably expensive, so plan ahead and get things cheaper. You can't work forever
    Surprised

Write your comments here...The problem is the nearest caravan shop is a long way. So more convenient on site.

Malcolm,  forgive  me  for  asking  but  have  you  read  Merve's  long running  thread  on  BioPods  &  their  use  in  the  cassettes  ??  Darn  site  cheaper  than  A'kem  et  al

We had time in between deliveries to get back to the caravan and have a cup of tea plus ham with melted chees on toast.

Was that just a 'warm up' ahead of your roast lamb dinner then, Malcolm? Wink

I think it was breakfast, then fish for lunch, followed by ham and cheese on toast, followed by lamb. I think I've got that right unless there was chocolate cake and a cream tea plus a bottle of wine...Winking Oh
    dear.....

Been into Tamworth shopping today.  Feeling a bit better with my cold, but still coughing a lot.  I've got someone to deputise for me tonight at Brewood Singers Practice and I've cancelled the U3A practice tomorrow.  I don't want to spread this around.

Write your comments here...Just cereal for breakfast but we did have scones with strawberry jam after the cheese and ham on toast. No chocolate cake or wine yet today though.

Drove down to Cornwall through patchy fog this morning, but not a bad journey overall. Usual routine on our first day - breakfast at the garden centre just round the corner, unpack the car then take the dogs up for a run on the dunes. Just finished lunch
and .... shopping to "look forward to" now! Surprised

Glad you made it down ok, Moulesy,  will see you both tomorrow.Smile

It seems non-stop now. We had a Brio delivery followed by Fiordilatte, KFC and now another Macdonalds to do.

We've been to Meadowhell to do a bit of Christmas shopping. That wasn't a spelling mistake.

Malcolm - educate me, what are a Brio and Fiordilatte? The last one sound like a milky coffee with ice in it!

Looked up Biopods on the internet but seems to be a huge plastic box etc with live worms/larvae inside.

Can't find Merve's posts on the search facility.

are they really an acceptable alternative to Aqua chem? Has anyone got the right net/website address and how simple is their use?
