towcar choice

I have to move my sited Lunar Planet Chiron, miro 870kg/ maw 1100kg (I will empty it to minimise weight) about 70 miles to another site.

My towcar options are my brother's Dacia Sandero Stepway 1.5 diesel, with a kerb weight of 1100kg or my own Merc C180 petrol auto (kerbweight1465kg). 

I appreciate the 85% ratio gives Dacia 935kg/ Merc1245kg. 

For this low speed tow I favour the torque of the Dacia diesel over my Merc (I used to tow with my previous Merc C220cdi). Any views appreciated
