Water pump issues...Sterling Amber Elite 2012

We've had our caravan for about 9 months and just returned from a night away in it. 

This time we noticed a few issues with the water...

I've listed them as they may or may not be related but any advice would be great (we are new to caravanning)

1. The pump has definitely gone noisier. It was really loud this time

2. Sometimes, the water indicator would show red and then I'd press fill water again, for a second, turn it off and when I pressed view levels it would show the correct levle (e.g. full or 3/4 or 1/2 but not empty)

3. Occasionally, when I turned on the gas hob (say to heat the kettle), the water pump would start up and the levels would be as above. (red)

 

And a final unrelated question - advice needed really:

If I want to run a tap, should I have to press the water pump button every time? As currently If I don't, no water will come

    Our Elite is a 2008 so has a different water system, but the answer to your final question is NO.

    Are you a member on SwiftTalk?  If not, I suggest you join and post the problem there, you should get plenty of help.

    If you were not on EHU, I’d check the state of the battery. Otherwise, I’d try adjusting the pressure setting.
