Omnivent OERP1

I thought i would give the the heads up.
Our van had a failed vent, i changed the motor and fan as supplied by dealer under failed pdi. This didnt cure the problem. I then looked at the board - obvious water damage.
I decided i needed this part replaced asap (away next week) and have yet to call the dealers (it took them 6 weeks to supply the motor) - i ordered it from ebay. I was also pondering how to protect the new board from the same damage.
The part arrived and i was looking to seal the board - i then noticed the new board was submersed in silicon.
It looks like the manufactures have realised that a circuit board open to atomsphere is not a good idea.
The fan works like a champ now. If you have a failed board (which looks like common fault) the new ones are far better design.
