Omnistor Thule awning leg

Our awning leg gives way, it stands ok but as soon as you put any pressure on it like a storm tie dow kit it gives way, anybody know of a fix for this or is it a new one ?

    is it new. ie are you new to using it. If so we had same problem. Solution press the locking bit of plastic firmly at the end. I was loath to press it hard because it felt like it would break. It felt like it was locked but it was not. It should end up flat to the leg

    @dmurrell this thread is 11 years old and, sadly, Richiebuoy passed away several years ago but I’m sure he would have appreciated your advice as may others.
