Club site listings need improvement?

One part of the caravan club website that I feel needs improvement is the 'Nearby Events and Attractions' listings on the club site descriptions.  These are often very random and do not include major attractions on the doorstep.  

I can only assume that businesses pay to be listed.  Surely if the caravan club wants to promote the use of it's sites, and be a source of useful information to members, then they could provide a much more comprehensive list. 

I tend to ignore this section and use Trip Advisor.
