Barbecue dilemma ?

Hello, 

I am pretty new to caravaning , but my question is should i buy a proper barbecue that will plug into the caravan gas outlet, or does anybody use a normal barbecue and seperate gas bottle? Am i right in saying the max presure for the gas should be 30mb ??
