Transit towing caravan

Me and my husband are interested in starting caravaning, until we can buy a bigger car the caravan will be towed by my husbands non signed transit van, i've seen a lot on line saying that alot of sites don't allow transit vans, does anyone know if this
is true for caravan club sites.
