VW Tiguan factory fitted tow ball

I have just taken delivery of a VW Tiguan Match DSG with a factory fitted retractable tow ball and 13 electrics. I tow a Bailey Pursuit with an Al-ko 3004 stabiliser. I have the same problem as holidaydog and MichaelT in a discussion last year but cannot
see how it was resolved. The problem is that Al-ko specify a minimum of 60mm between the centre of the tow ball and the top of the neck/flange and the retractable tow ball on my Tiguan (I believe it might be a Westfallier) is no more than 50mm. Apparently
this can cause the caravan to detach! The VW salesman is contacting VW Technical in Germany although I am not hopeful for any meaningful answer.

I'd really appreciate advice especially from MichaelT, holidaydog or anyone.
