Edinburgh - park motorhome while staying in motel?

It may sound an odd question, but our choir has annual trips. Two years ago we parked our motorhome at the motel then went touring after the choir trip had finished. But where we are staying in Edinburgh this year (Holiday Inn Express, Picardy Place) has
no parking available. Unless we can find somewhere suitable and secure to park the motorhome for a couple of  days and nights while we are staying there, we will have to abandon the idea and travel up by coach like the other choir members. Any suggestions
please? Somebody suggested the zoo.
