Crystal Palace to close?

I'm aware that there have been plans to redevelop parts of Crystal Palace park - including the CC site - to provide luxury housing. The latest information that I can find is that this development will be going ahead, but the site won't close for several
years yet.

If it were to close, it would be a tremendous loss. Can anybody - including Club management - provide an update on this please?
