Peace and quiet

During the 30 years we have been Caravan Club members I assumed we had experienced all the anti-social ways that members behave - the clowns who ignore the 5mph speed limit, the out-of-control children, the equally out-of-control, barking, yapping dogs and
so on.

But it seems not.

At Lower Wensleydale site last week we were treated to the Domestic Row(s).

Pitched next door to us were a couple who conducted several on-going arguments, mainly outdoors (it was a hot and sunny week!) but then continuing inside the 'van.

The "Domestic Row" was extended over several days - or perhaps it was a different one each day - hard to tell really.

So, if by any chance you read this Mr & Mrs Bailey-Stowmarket ( I do know your name - the clue's in the hyphen - but I won't use it here ), Pitch 31, 18-22 May, take note:

I'm not interested in who said what to who, and why.

I'm not interested in listening to your whinging, whining, shrieking "discussions" as to who is to blame.

I just want peace and quiet in these lovely Yorkshire Dales.

If you can't contain your marital problems, stay at home. That way you'll save money, only annoy the neighbours and allow the rest of us to enjoy our caravanning.
