Bailey Orion --Translucent roof

From my own experience of this and the agony of getting Bailey to do something. My Orion had a translucent roof and suffered from a high level of rain noise. I have just got it back from Bailey after 12 weeks and lots of hassle (over 9 months.)

We have tried to get a trade in on our Orion and it seems that the Caravan trade are well aware of this fault.

If you have an early Orion check the roof,  It will be obvious when you wake in the morning at say 0600 on a bright day with your curtains closed. you will see the roof struts in silouette and light coming through what looks like fibreglass insulation across
the flat section of your roof.

Your van will still be under warranty.

A bird told me that Bailey are about to discontinue the Orion.
