Hi For a long time i have often seen Dutch Caravans with cycles on the back wall of there caravans ,mainly hobby/lmc etc However when i asked a guy about this on site he said yes it can be a bit un-stable !!!!wow.

But i have now noticed some people putting bikes on the back of British vans, have i missed something here when did it become safe to hang 30 kg on the rear of your van 4 feet from the floor?,let alone if the rear of most vans is striong enough to carry such
a fitment.I get it with a motorhome the tail end is not as vital .but i am concerned people are just attaching these racks with litle or no thought to the dynamics of` horizontal swing` that can be induced by having such weight at the rear most part of your
outfit.I asked Coachman a couple of years ago if they would endorse such a fitment and it was clear NEVER EVER put a weight like this at the rear of your outfit,i believe the club has also allways said the same .

Dont get me wrong if that is your choice then go for it i just cant see how its safe!
