Members only sites

Hi All, we are club members and have been for 5yrs ( relative newcomers) we are currently staying at White House beach and enjoying our stay.

Could anyone tell me what makes a site members only, I was not expecting bells and whistles when we arrived but this is our first stay on a members only site.

Is it something as simple as being a member gets you this for your yearly fee as well all else the club offers.
