Milenco nose weight gauge

I am wondering if any folk who have used a Milenco nose weight gauge can provide an assurance that it works.  I bought a cheap (not Milenco one) years ago and it is useless.  I find that using bathroom scales is impractical largely because of where we store
and load our caravan.  I don't want to spend the money on a Milenco unless I can be sre it is worth it.  Comments appreciated.

Just had ours today and I'm hoping it will be worth the expense.  Won't be using it though until the new van arrives.  Just hope I've bought the right product.

Yes it works. They are certified as accurate and mine is.

Me as well.  But many just use bathroom scales and piece of wood!

I tried that bathroom scales idea but it was a fiddle and we don't want to pack them for every trip with the van. I bought the Milenco at our local dealer just now and cheaper than Amazon. It looks well made and far better than the cheap one I bought years
ago. Many thanks for helpful replies from you all.

Good piece of kit i used to be a bathroom scales and wood man, but now use the proper tool as it is manufactured to BS7691 and retains its accuracy for at least 1000 uses and is accurate to 2kg. use it every time before i hitch up as its so easy.

    How heavy is the Milenco?

EDIT: found an advertiser that says, its 1.7kg, not bad.

I just use the bathroom scales to check loading before departure from home. I run at about 85Kg, so I have 15kg to play with to take care of any discrepancy in loading for the return. Those with low noseweight limits on their cars may have to be a bit more
    circumspect.
