Battery life with a mover

I am after some advice please.  We have a mover, for the first time, on our new caravan.  We are going to France for six weeks leaving in two weeks time.  At present our battery is in the caravan and showing  a good charge.  As we store the caravan away
from home we cannot connect the EHU to top up the charge before we go.  My question is - should I take the battery out and put it on our smart charger at home before we leave or will the car keep it charge sufficiently en route?  Needless to say, I want to
ensure that we have enough charge for us to operate the mover.
