Dorema Mistral awning

Hi all, we have a Dorema Mistral porch awning which we love.  It is a 2013 model made with ripstop nylon and we can put it up in around ten minutes without an argument.  It withstands the worst of British wind and rain but the fabric is not strong enough
to resist the UV light in the South of France.  Dorema is now making it with tencate fabric for 2014 which I guess would make it fine for France.  They say the total weight is around 16kg which makes it only 4kg more than the ripstop version. Has anyone had
experience of a single pole awning using tencate?  I am wondering if putting it up would be as quick and easy as the ripstop nylon one we have.
