Parking a motorhome at the NEC for the day

We are planning to go for a day to the Caravan and motorhome show at the NEC next month. As our car is not currently up to the journey we are planning to take the motorhome. I have looked on the website and it says motorhomes can be parked in the car parks.
Has anyone parked a motorhome in the car parks and how was it regarding space and security? We have a 6.7 meter coach built.
