Calorlite connector problem
I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. Last week I got a fresh calorlite gas cylinder but have had a problem fitting the gas connector. I found it difficult to persaude the thread to engage and then found it almost imposssible to tighten the fitting
sufficently to make a gas-tight seal. I did get it tight enough in the end but I am now concerned that I may find it a challenge when I come to undo the connector to replace the cylinder. Does anyone have ideas as to how best to overcome this problem? Is
it a sound idea to use WD40 on the gas fiitngs and would that help? Any ideas and comments will be greatly received. We are setting off for a month in Scotland towards the end of March so are keen to have everything working well.
