We recently had a very lovely weekend at Seacroft site in Cromer.  We were pitched on one of the serviced pitches and I couldn't help but reflect on the state of the grass pitches opposite.  Each grass pitch was denoted by a large area of bare ground, not
a blade of grass to be found.  Now this may be ok whilst the weather is fine and dry but when it rains these pitches must turn into a mud bath.  Most of the caravan doors opened straight onto these bare areas of earth.  So how about a ban on all ground sheets
to help preserve these pitches through out the season.
