Porch Awning for a motorhome - Help please

Hi All,

Seems this year's challenge is to learn about awnings - something I've never touched before.

So we went to a local caravan place yesterday, and were really impressed by some of the awnings.  I know we have a motorhome, but we're thinking about replacing it with a caravan in the next 12 months, and as we never drive out in the MH once pitched, it
makes no sense to buy a driveaway - so we want to fit a caravan awning to our MH.

We have a F45 Fiamma, which has a built in rail.  I think its 4m long (I will check the length and height today - It was a standard item on a McLouis Lagan 410)

One thing I liked about the awnings we saw was how flush they were with the caravans - there was no gap at all, and they had a 90degree return to keep things nicely finished, flush and stable.  Very nice.

I'm worried that the fiamma awning rail sites 6" proud of the van, and so the poles would be at an angle.

If the Fiamma rail is 4m, can I get an awning just over 4m?  Would that work?

Also looking for the air awnings - they look brilliant and since I hate putting tents etc up, it seems a good fit for me.

Any tips on the practicalities?

Any tips on easy to pitch air awnings - literally, the less effort the better please!

Any accessories I need to fit an awning to the rail on a Fiamma? I'm reading the sizes don't match and I need a converter strip?

Thanks. Happy
