Caravan Insurance - help needed

We have been motorhomers for the last 6 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the adventures we have had we have toured France Spain Italy Greece and Croatia.  We always end up in Spain and have decided that along with a lot of British people we would like to
leave a caravan on a site in Spain for the winter months and be able to visit it as and when we want. We want to leave the van in storage for the summer months, the site provides secure under cover storage and delivers the van back to the pitch when we want. 
So we have taken the plunge and bought a 2012 caravan, BUT we cannot get insurance on it! because it will not be stored in the UK! what do we do? Anyone help?
