Electric Fridge not doing so well?

Just got back from a trip down to Spain, where we found that the fridge wasn't working on EHU.

Switched to Gas power, and it was fine.

On returning home, we've found the ice box is getting cold on EHU - so it is working - but seemingly can't cope with ambient temperatures in excess of 25C

 

That doesn't seem right to me - anyone got any ideas?  Its about 10 years old btw.#
