Battery linkages?

I've been thinking about getting a small solar panel for a while now - just a cheap thing to keep batteries topped up - but I don't understand how to connect it up

If I connect it to my cab battery, will it also feed through to the leisure battery - or vise versa?

 

I don't have any way to connect to the leisure battery without taking the seat out and connect cables direct to the battery, so I was hoping to run it through the 12V socket on the dash.
