Hobby caravans?

Hi

My wife and I attended the NEC caravan show last week.

We quite enjoyed seeing all the different caravans on offer and being able to walk around and compare and actually thought we had settled on a new caravan. That was until we arrived at the Hobby caravan area.

We could not believe the difference in build quality and interiors and am quite suprised that there are not many more on our roads. Is there a reason for this?

plus I have also compared prices between here and Germany and there appears to be about £5000 difference for the same model ( German prices being cheaper ).

Would any one know the reason for this and what are other vanners experience of Hobby caravans?
