We have just returned from a trip to the caravan club site at Borrowdale in the Lake District. To get to the site we had to go through the tiny village of Grange which involved negotiating 2 small hump back bridges. as we went slowly over the bridges, the
bottom of the motorhome scraped along the ground. I'm pretty sure it was both the Alko chassis and the water tank that caugh on the ground. I don't think any harm has been done and we managed to complete our journey home.

We are suppose to be taking the Portsmouth-Santander ferry in 2 weeks and I'm a little nervous of the ferry ramp just in case it's a bit steep.

Looking to the longer term though, is there any way we could improve the clearance? Would air suspension work for instance? Any advice would be grateful received.
