Battery Charge Isues
Hi I wonder if anyone could help. I bought a new van a few months ago and replaced the leisure battery when we bought it. We have had no issues at all and everything worked fine when hooked to the electrick hook up. I had one night without the hook up
and the battery ran flat. I removed the battery from the van and fully charged it on a car charger before replacing it.
We noticed when we were away last weekend that every time we turn on a light the battery indicator needle rapidly goes down to red (flat) Once we turn the light off it ramps back up to almost full straight away!! The light never goes off but does seem to
dim as the needle drops. Also when we turn on the water etc the lights dim quite a bit. Battery never start 'flat though'
I have checked the fuses and they all seem OK. Battery charger light is 'ON' (illuminates) on the control panel at all times.
Damaged batter? faulty charger? dodgy indicator?
Just seems strange that this has only happened after the battery loosing charge the once.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Andy
