Alko 2004 Gaitor Replacement - Overun Slugs?

Hi everyone, looking to replace my gaitor on an Alko 2004 hitch as it's split. Appears that I need a 'slug' or short pin to hold the overun piston in place when I remove the 2 bolts holding the hitch...Anyone know what dimensions these are (diameter and
length)..I've asked Bailey but they seemed clueless...

    Just a thought but instead of asking Bailey why don't you try asking Alko?

    Anything as long as it is not larger in diameter than the bolt or just use the old bolt, all it is doing is stopping the piston from slowly expanding whilst your working on the hitch.
