Hi all

My habitation warranty is due to run out this year and would appreciate it if someone could recommend a reputable company. My vehicle is a 2007 Fiat Ducato. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what you really mean Dunston about a habitation warranty that has lasted 9 years? It may be a good idea to be a little more specific with information and what you are looking for. Regards, Roy

On the issue of warranties on new caravans/motor homes, can anyone explain why it is that if you buy a new car the manufacturer has no right to repudiate the warranty if one has the car serviced or repaired at a non-franchised service or repair agent, while
caravan manufacturers continue to threaten that this will be the consequence of taking one's leisure vehicle to a non-franchised agent. It seems that EU Law applies in the car situation, but does not apply to the leisure vehicle market. Why is that? It is
a question I have put to my caravan manufacturer in the past, and got the reply 'that is the way it is, so tough', and when I wrote to my European MEP's, none of them bothered even to my request that they take this up with the EU Commission.

Our Pilote can be checked by any recognised Dealer. All Pilote want to know is if there is a leak anywhere that needs fixing. Damp Survey was £99. Fiat did the vehicle service. Seems the likes of Swift and other Uk Bit Assemblers generate CASH for their
Dealer Network by insisting that you have a full Habitation Survey. Not that they do a lot when it goes in. Money for old rope really. They know you have to have it done .. SIR
