Replacement door lock for Coachman Pastiche

Hi folks

 

Looking for some advice on where to purchase a replacement door lock for my Coachman Pastiche 560 2010. I recently bought my first caravan and the handle of the lock snapped off, the barrel can also be opened without the key being fully inserted. The lock
is the rounded triangle shape trimark lock. I contacted a local Coachman dealer and after Coachman got back to them they were told the lock is no longer available. I have sent an email to both Coachman and Trimark to see how I can replace the damaged lock
but stilll waiting on a reply from both so thought id try here for some extra advice. I have ordered a security handle so that door can be securely locked in the meantime but really need to have the lock replaced as opening the door is a pain.

 

Any help/advice would be greatly apreciated.

    The doors are bought in and are probably common to several makes so ringing round other makes dealers might work, otherwise I would  try Amazon or e bay.

    Try the caravan reclamation yards as there is bound to be spare parts available.

    Thanks for the suggestions, I will try ringing round some reclamation yards next week. As far as Amazon, Ebay and all the usual spare parts websites Ive not been able to see the same lock, the closest I have seen is a Hartel lock which is similar shaped
    but not identical, worse case scenario is get one of them and alter the door to suit but it seems weird theres not a straight replacement available for a 6 year old caravan.

    True, I would have thought by six years there would be a number of locks needing replacement and now is the time to have them available.

    Good luck .... if my experience in trying to get hold of a simple magnetic door stay for my 2013 Coachman is anything to go by, you'll need it. Local Coachman dealers & Coachman themselves were less then useless. In the end I got what I wanted from http://www.olearymotorhomes.co.uk/ ...He
    was very helpful & just happened to have the half of the catch I needed skulling around somewhere.

    There's what look llike the correct item on ebay at the moment, described as Trimark Caravan Lock - Elddis/Coachman (click for link).

    and here (cheaper, because you have to use your old lock barrel and keys).
