safety cut offs on thetford ovens
had a lucky escape whilst away recently. the electric hotplate knob was accidentaly turned on. despite the lid being down the hotplate heated up and the glass lid collapsed onto the oven. i contacted thetford and was informed not all van ovens were fitted
with a cut off device. is this a cost cutting exercise by the manufacturer?. found out mine was fitted with device, but obviously it did not work. so do the dealers who service your vans actualy check this. a safety issue which i feel the caravan club should
