How do I clean insect blinds?

Van spent last summer in France, so the blinds were well used. Some holes look blocked, insect spray possibly?......how do I clean them?

If I could pull the blind out of the case a quick soak and washing up brush would do but I cannot move out of case!

Any ideas? A damp cloth has been useless.
