I wondered if people realise that their English National Trust membership works in Scotland - as does English Heritage (and vice versa) - I met someone in Scotland who had no idea his English NT membership worked that side of the border too.
ALSO the Old Hardwick Hall - and some other venues Stonehenge was one - allow NT members. I was at HH with an NT member and she decided to join me (I am English Heritage too) looking round the older building and was going to pay - but nice man said no need.
If the land is owned by the NT and there is EH property on it NT members get in for free. Hope that makes sense but you can always check out their websites.
