I am staying at Berwick view at the moment the temperature is around 2 degrees with a heavey frost in the morning, when we were leaving the site you have to drive down a steepish hill towards the barrier where you have to stop and swipe your exit card. taking care because of the frost I gently applied my brakes the ABS immediatly kicked in and i slid for a few feet towards the barrier, as luck would have it on the other side to our right was the warden, I stopped and called him over saying you need to put more grit down because It was dangerous his reply was if i did that i would have to grit everywhere. What a loads of codswallop i said what would have happened if i would have hit the barrier? his reply was well ill put a little more down, surley steep declines are a priority and if the whole site needs gritting so be it,its the clubs duty to have members safety in mind if they are opening the site in winter. also using the WiFi which is a waste of time it keeps buffering to catch up I think the club needs to get its act together before members stop renewing thier membership and go elsewhere.
