Hyundai i35 4x4 security

Got this car. Wish I had read this month's magazine article before I spent the money (but that is another story)

It has keyless entry to the car boot. You can open the boot if you have the key nearby without unlocking the car. At home no problem the keys are inside the house behind several walls etc. In the caravan it is different. We have tested the system with putting
the keys in various places inside the van. You can open the boot door. Great security. Have spoken to a dealer to ask if the system could be immobilised and told no it can't. Have not yet contacted Hyundai. 

Anyone else got the problem or got a solution short of buying a decent car?
