Which Sat Nav App?

Were off to France during the school holidays in July/August and was looking to download a Sat Nav App for the iphone.

I've bought a few books for sites and also the Aires book, but I want to be sure that I can input the appropriate co-ordinates fom the guide books into the Sat Nav.

The Aires seems to show the points in degrees & minutes, whereas other guides seem to show lat & long.

I also want something that will work offline, as I dont want to be using 3G to connect.

Autoexpress mentioned a few a couple of wks ago in a test they did and I wondered if anybody has any experience with these and whether they are up to the job?

Waze (not sure if they cover Europe)?
