Weber or other BBQ Experts - help please

I have just invested in the Weber Go Anywhere BBQ and wonder how others have got on cooking large stuff - by what they call the indirect method?  First attempt went wrong on Monday and it wasn't hot enough to cook anything - certainly not the pork belly
joint got from Lidl.  (that was delicious cooked later in the Halogen though)

Possibly not enough charcoal but I did the 1/4 measure as per instructions and the piece should have needed about 40 minutes.  I don't think even a thin slice of fish would have cooked.
