Peugeot Motorhome Trip Computer

I have a Bailey Approach with a Peugeot Cab. I like to know my average speed over long holidays but the trip computer zeroes the average speed after about every 750 miles. The trip mileage and time continue to increase as normal.

Has anybody else come across this problem?
