Advice on avtex snipe

just bought a avtex Snipe automatic satellite "dish" ...do any users of the Snipe know why all the satellite LEDs on the controller are flashing? Do i need to download a program update? If so ...how ..I can't find it on
their website. Seems a bit odd as others appear to be able to plug it in and find satellites within 30 secs
