Towing in muddy fields with Nissan X Trail?

I am considering buying a new Nissan X Trail and have been on the caravan web site and done the "outfit match" and it come out as 89% with my /Buccaneer Elan. I want some members views on the "uphill towing" performance and also we do a lot of "farm-field" camping with our main hobby of dog shows, therfore I would  welcome any "first-hand'" towing experience / views as to the X Trails towing performance in these conditions Good straightforward responses please as I don.t want to purchase this vehicle and find out later that it really doesn't suit my needs Thanks in anticipation of your views.
