Agreed. Milton is not recommended by boiler manufacturers. In the past when I have cleaned out the water system it takes ages to get rid of the after taste. I don't like my water to taste like a swimming pool so I no longer clean out my water system. After
6 years use the pipes on my MH are as clean as a whistle.

My 2012 Swift MH handbook states to clean all the system with the dose as recommended by Milton. I have done this from new without any problems putting 450ml into the freshwater tank & flushing it right throug all the system & waste tank too. It takes about
3 flushes afterwards to clear it out & it is only left in the system for the recommend 15 minutes. I think the problem comes re damage etc. when the product is not diluted to the correct dose & left for longer than 15 minutes. Regards Roy

For longer stays, I used to have a bucket that I emptied water out and threw into the bushes whenever my "full" light came on.

Grey water is fine to water a hedge.

The cold in and hot out of our boiler are push fit connections. I pull them off and put a short link pipe between them thus keeping the Milton out of the stainless boiler. I also flush three times to get rid of the smell, don't know about taste as my liquids
