I have been caravanning over thirty years and can’t recall when the phrase “seasonal caravan” appeared. In the early years you had static caravan sites and separate touring caravan sites. Now there are a lot of touring caravans sited all year round or at
least all season.

I do not have a problem with them each to their own, if that’s what they want I suppose it’s a cheap version of a static.

The only problem is how many times over recent years have you seen one or two “seasonal pitches” on CL sites and are these contributing to the loss of that site as a CL.

What do you think?
