The New Truma Combi Gas/Electric Water & CH
Just been looking at the spec. of a new c/van that comes fitted with the latest Truma Gas/Electric water & Central Heating Combi System & takes 4 kw power . Theoretically this would require a fuse/trip in excess 17 amps at the connection (assuming average
Eurowide voltage supply of 230v) . UK trips at supply point are generally 16 amps & Euro trips particularly France start at just 6 amps these days & up to 16 amps. I am puzzled why a 4kw unit is felt appropriate if most power outlets have insufficient amperage
to accept . Am I missing something/can anyone out there enlighten ?
