Tyre pressure alert.

This morning while it was relatively still cool I checked my tyre pressures on the caravan. The tyres were inflated to 42psi only three weeks ago when the weather was cooler, I was surprised to find that the nearside tyre facing the early morning sun was now 45.5, while the other in the shade was 41.5psi. At first my reaction was to deflate the nearside tyre but I have learned from THIS article that hot tyres can cause an increased reading of 4psi. Anyone checking the tyres pressure during this hot spell needs to be aware of this otherwise you could have underinflated tyres if checked when hot, or an unbalenced caravan if one side is hot and the other cold.
